We welcome beginners and novices (particularly those who have tried to work it out by themselves but who realise the need some expert help)
There are six scheduled workshop dates:
Each workshop is scheduled to start at 9:30 am and we ask you to be there a bit before that. They finish at around 4:30 PM
Maximum size is 12 participants. We adjust the number of guides to suit the size of the group.
We are happy to accommodate children from the age of 12. Any child under 18 needs to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
We provide almost everything you need. We provide all fishing gear, including waders. We provide tea, coffee, water and snacks over the course of the day and a BBQ lunch.
You will first be introduced to fly fishing gear, fly fishing techniques and safety considerations. You'll then start some basic casting practice on land before we add a fly to your fly line and you hit the water. You'll have one of our guides nearby at all time, helping you develop your technique, encouraging you and, if required, netting your fish.
The workshops cost $325. Once we have confirmed space availability for your chosen workshop we will provide details as to how you pay a $65 deposit, with the balance due during the week prior to the workshop.
We are happy to offer personalised Gift Certificates either for specific dates or open dates (subject to availability)
